About our products

Can I order a custom size for a dress or romper?

Absolutely! If you are in between sizes, or if you would like a custom
fit, feel free to give us your measurements. There is an option when ordering any of our kigus to add your measurements. Just type your bust, natural waist, hip measurement and height into the form, and add to cart! I will custom size your kigu for you, free of charge, no matter the size.

Our sweaters are an oversized fit, so we don’t offer custom sizing for them. Feel free to check out the size chart and size up or down if you prefer a tighter or looser fit!

What measurements do you need for custom sizes?

If you are interested in a custom size, we will need some specific measurements from you. Those measurements are the following:

BUST:
This measurement is the FULLEST part of your chest, and around your
back. If you intend to wear a bra with the costume, it is best if you
put that on when measuring yourself.

WAIST:
This measurement is your NATURAL WAIST. This means the smallest portion of your waist, generally right below your ribcage and just above your bellybutton.

HIPS: This measurement is the
fullest part of your hip. That means it goes over the widest part of
your hips, and over your butt.

HEIGHT: We will need your height to
determine if we need to lengthen or shorten the dress for you.

OPTIONAL:
WAIST TO HEM: If you would like your skirt to be a custom length, you can measure from your natural waist down to where you want the skirt to stop. We can adjust the length of the skirt for you that way.

Can I order a custom design?

Definitely! Feel free to head over to our CUSTOMS PAGE to fill out a custom design request form! It will be submitted to us, and then we will contact you with a pricing quote and how to proceed on
the commission.

We cannot guarantee that every submission will be accepted (due to influx of requests, type of content, difficulty level, etc).

How long will it take to make my kigu?

The length of time it takes us to make a kigu depends on the complexity of the order and how many orders we currently are making at any given time. We generally strive to complete orders within 4-6 weeks. All of our items are handcrafted and made to order, so we appreciate your patience as we craft your kigu for you!

If you have ordered a custom design, the completion time will vary even further. Generally, custom design commissions take between 4‑12 weeks to complete.

What are the care/washing instructions for my kigu?

We recommend washing your kigu in a washing machine on delicate/cold. PLEASE DO NOT USE A DRYER. Place the kigu on a hanger and air dry for best results. Use a lint remover brush for any additional fuzzies.

Can you repair or alter a kigurumi for me?

We may offer both repairs and alterations for wear and tear, or if your kigu no longer fits you. Both of these alteration options may come with additional fees. Contact us at kangaroomis@gmail.com for more details.

Is your studio animal‑free?

I work in a home studio, and I have two kitties - Arya and Midna! We do
not allow them inside the studio or near any fabric or products, however there is possibility for contamination due to them being in the same building. If you have allergy concerns, feel free to contact us at kangaroomis@gmail.com.

Payments, Returns, and Shipping

Do you offer payment plans?

We now offer payment plans for all of our products! Just select ShopPay or AfterPay at checkout in order to take advantage of the payment plans we offer. Both of these services break the payment down into four increments that can be paid over time. It's quick and easy to sign up!

Can you rush an order to fit my deadline?

Generally, we are able to rush orders, as long as we are given enough time to finish them to meet our quality standards. Rush orders are subject to an additional fee, and your deadline must be specified before we begin your order. Contact us at kangaroomis@gmail.com for rush orders.

How much does shipping cost? How long does it take to ship?

If you live in the United States, standard shipping is FREE! Standard domestic shipping generally takes between 2-7 business days to arrive. You also have the option to purchase rush shipping at checkout, if you desire.

International shipping rates may vary, as they are chosen by the shipping carrier. You can see how much shipping will cost and what options you have by going to checkout.

You will receive an email once your order is complete, with the tracking information for your package

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

We accept full cancellations on orders within 48 hours of purchase.
After 48 hours, we cannot guarantee a cancellation, as our items are made to order. We may be able to make an exception if we have not purchased materials or started your commission yet.

Since all of our products are handmade and made to order, we do not accept returns or refunds after the 48 hour window. If you are unhappy with the quality or fit of your product, feel free to contact us at kangaroomis@gmail.com with
questions or concerns.

I live internationally. Will I be compensated for customs fees?

Unfortunately, international custom fees are out of our control. We are not responsible for reimbursement for these fees.
